Floating upon the water...
With no direction to head....
Swept by the current...
Without any buoy to hold onto...
Just like the maple leaf...
Falling apart from its tree....
Blown by the wind...
Not even a chance to stay back....
Unlike the rock...
Who always stands firmly...
despite the swift wave....
despite the strong cyclone...
A rock is however never a leaf
Nor is a leaf ever a rock
To make both of them together
would means making the leaf float with the rock above it...
It is perhaps a better option....
To drown instead of float...
being led solely by the current...
is just too meaningless....
